Woy Woy via Palm Beach and the Wagstaffe ferry (Approx. 66km)
Pace will be designed to keep us all together so that we get to Palm Beach in time (8:45) to catch the 9am ferry to Wagstaffe and Ettalong.
From St Ives we take the usual route along Mona Vale Rd then down McCarrs Creek Rd to Church Point turning left before Mona Vale to cross to Barrenjoey Rd for the run north to Palm Beach and the ferry wharf.
Leave the ferry at Wagstaffe and follow the coastal bike path to the one stiff climb up to the expansive coastal views from Killcare Heights and a pretty run along the Scenic Rd around to Woy Woy. Coffee in Woy Woy near the station then train back to Hornsby where some may choose to ride home and others to catch a second train to Turramurra.

Parramatta River Run from St Ives (Approx. 52km)
We ride down Mona Vale Rd and turn right onto Telegraph Rd to reach Turramurra, and roll down Kissing Point Rd to Browns Waterhole. Then through Eastwood and onwards to the river at Meadowbank.
This should really be called the Two Rivers Run because we ride both sides of short sections of both the Parramatta and Lane Cove rivers. The Lane Cove park run is particularly lovely . . . until we reach the steep little climb out of the park to West Lindfield. More climbing follows via Gordon and the St Ives Alps to a welcome coffee back at St Ives.
