WHO WE ARE

We are a bunch of enthusiastic cyclists and friends. We believe in a sense of belonging and a passion for engaging our (non-cycling) partners and spouses in club and social activities.  We believe fun, safety and mutual respect are fundamental in ensuring the long lasting joy cycling can bring . We are a non-competitive group with an average speed of between 24-32kph (on less hilly rides) being a good sweet spot for us.  We are proud to wear the SIC kit and share many social events outside cycling.  Many of us started out riding by ourselves but looked for that little bit more. If you want to ride with like-minded cyclists who have your enjoyment and safety foremost in our mind, then Contact Us.

ABOUT US

St Ives Cycling Bicycle User Group (SICBUG) is a not for profit incorporated Cycling group affiliated with Bicycle New South Wales (BNSW). Our members come from areas surrounding St Ives on Sydney’s Upper North Shore. Our rides generally start in St Ives, Turramurra or Hornsby depending on the route for the day.  Although primarily a road bike group, many of our members own and organise MTB, gravel or cross country rides. In addition to our scheduled local riding calendar, the club periodically organises interstate and European riding trips.
